Rosary Altar Society
The Rosary Altar Society of Saint Mary, Mother of God Church is more than a group—it’s a community of faith, prayer, and service dedicated to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through the recitation of the Rosary, members seek her guidance and protection, nurturing a spirit of devotion that reaches far beyond our parish walls.
Their mission extends into acts of charity and tangible support for the parish and community. Members care for the church’s sacred linens, provide chalices for Mass, and give back through various charitable efforts. They sponsor youth participation in spiritual programs, including sending a Life Teen member to The Steubenville Conference, and support initiatives like BirthRight with annual baby showers. In past years, they have even purchased Christmas gifts for children at a local charter school. Continuing this legacy of generosity, the society now offers a scholarship program to help students pursue Catholic education.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month after the 9:00 am Mass in the Bulman Center, and all are welcome to join, learn, and serve. For more information, contact Eileen DeGennero at (732) 614-6472.
Jr. Rosarian Group
The Jr. Rosarian Group is open to parish youth age 10 and older whose parent or guardian is a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Rooted in prayer and service, these young members make handmade rosary beads for veterans and the sick, organize bake sales to purchase food gift cards for those in need, and actively support charitable outreach within the community. Most recently, they assembled and distributed over 150 care packages filled with personal supplies for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through these meaningful works of mercy, our Jr. Rosarians grow in faith, compassion, and a spirit of joyful service.
Scholarship Information
The Annual Rosary Altar Society Schedule has begun. The scholarship is open to all parishioners of Saint Mary's who are in their senior year of high school (with the exception of Junior Rosarians or children of Rosarians). Please fill out the application attached below.

Applications for the Rosary Altar Society 8th Grade Scholarship are now available in the parish office. This $500 scholarship is open to students who will be attending a Catholic high school in the upcoming academic year.
